Mr Fry, in the above mentioned episode of QI you discussed the idea that it is impossible to explain to an alien creature the difference between left and right. Considering we implement an orthonormal 2-axis system (x,y) with the observer in its starting point O (0,0) we could say that as "right" is described every element that is located in the 1st and 4th quadrant and as "left" every element in the 2nd and 3rd quadrant. isn't this an accurate description?
