I'm not even aware if they televised this pilot, but i did find it not as exciting as the QI we all now know and love, the set was very basic (but then again why blow a medium budget - if it may flop) but they so should entice Eddie Izzard and hugh lawrie back for another go at QI just this time televised in all it glory.

Would make me laugh if Stephen diverted Hugh's wrong answers into Alan's score so not to back-track on their Cambridge and Comedy friendship.

Hi,

Hugh Laurie wasn't in the pilot, he was in the first episode of season 1 if I remember right.

Charles (who wants QI in DVD zone 1, or at least on BBCAm, dang it)

I agree with you, it wasn't as fun. but still quite informative. I still loved it

The points system was all wrong X-D but I would love to see Eddie Izzard in the real series.

That would be me.

Eddie Izzard was a lot of fun in it - I love his buzzer!

Alan's hair soooo short !

Part 1 has been taken down. This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by BBC Worldwide Ltd.
B-but they left the other five parts up, heh that's a bit useless.
I enjoyed this, but I 'm so glad it's just the pilot episode and the whole series isn't like this.

I would love to see Eddie Izzard in the show again. Maybe he can be enticed back now that there's not going to be anymore series of *sniff* The Riches?

Assuming direct control...
