I wish we had evolved from rhinos.
That way the nagging feeling that socialising is the way forward would leave me alone and I could curl up in a nice little cocoon and read.
Why did primates have to be the ones to develop sentience?
I suppose it could be argued that my nagging feeling is absolutely correct and that social behaviour was the only way we could have evolved at all.
Well i say phooey to that.
I can evolve all by myself, thankyou very much.

....or from sloths? First of all only twelve nails to cut. (ten if the two-toed variety). Hang from trees for hours. If you can't be bothered to move, eat the algae clung to you. Can go for a month without the loo. Never any need for a blood pressure test. I could be a very sociable sloth but you would probably have moved since I walked towards you. (Have a little paitence). I wish I was a sloth

Cuttlefish.
They can change the colour of their skin to camouflage themselves, thus avoiding annoying people, with awesome ninja skill. Neurotoxins would be handy too.
They have their own ink. (I've misplaced my good drawing pen.)
They have cool eyes.
Eight arms plus two tentacles would make it easier to type, pat the dog and eat a sandwich at the same time.
Three hearts makes you slightly more awesome then a Time Lord.

I´m actually very happy of beeing a human, or probably more that the females of my specie are women
Interesting for me would be a stromy petrel, a bird that can fly, walk and swimm. However any bird would work. If flies of course, don´t think of a kiwi or other stupid bird (not a neo-zealander as you can see ).

Well, it's nice being human, but otherwise I'd be a cat - perhaps like Bob the cat in the book 'A street cat named Bob'
