Hi Stephen,
I am trying to get support for an incredible man, James Bowthorpe, who is currently trying to break the world record of 195 days to cycle round the world. James left Hyde Park on 29th March, and is already in Iran, having done over 3,000 miles through Europe in 33 days. Ahead is India, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, USA and Canada.
He is trying to raise £1.8m for ground breaking research into Parkinson's Disease, in Kings College London. James has been doing voluntary work in Kings for the past 2 years, and has seen the fantastic results of the research first hand.
You can learn more on his website
. http://www.globecycle.org/
and you can follow his progress on
http://whereintheworldisjames.com/
and read up about the research on
http://www.whatsdrivingparkinsons.net/about.html
and last but not least, if anyone would like to spur James on with a donation, see
http://www.justgiving.com/globecycle
Please help
Ron Hutton
