Just received my SFiA BD, hoping that it would play on my US-spec PS3, but no-go

Thought I'd give everyone a heads up in case they were thinking of getting it.

Oh... that's bad news

Thanks for sharing. I was contemplating whether I should get a Blue-Ray instead of the normal version. Guess not anymore.

gjhsu I looked up the PS3 on the DVD hacks site and it seems that the 3 is the only PS that doesn't have a hack code posted unfortunately.

Yeah, the gamble is that SOME UK blu-ray discs do play without problems on the US PS3... indeed, some BBC blu-ray discs play on US PS3 with no problems, but this one happens to be a disc that doesn't play. Ah well... at least I have an awesome collectible, haha. Unless I can find a multi-region BD player cheap enough to warrant splurging on.
