You can use it anytime I've seen it used as a greeting.

Soupy twist!!

I have yet to use this F&L phrase in real life "It was just balls from start to finish"...
The other evening on Twitter I did manage to slip in "It's a thundering nuisance" I was rather pleased with that.

Does somebody actually know where that phrase came from?

Perhaps, Stephen and Hugh created "Soupy twist" after the name of a great American comedian Soupy Sales? Could be...

Yeah that's what I read. Fry made it up for a radio show I think...
Can anyone tell me the joke behind "stromm"? I'm a bit too young to have listened to the radio show.
