"Stephen Fry - Writer, Broadcaster, National Treasure" - How true.. That's what I've noticed, too.

The other interviews are great too - one of the questions is 'would you describe yourself as a geek?' hehe

As "National Treasure" he has to be careful!!
The "National Trust" could buy him, to save this treasure for following generations! imagine stephen in a Mausoleum on Trafalgar Square (!) |

The web is like a city.
The English language is like a city. Television is like a city. They've all got their monuments, art galleries, their brothels and their dark alleyways. mmmm. Anyone spotted any other 'like a city' analogies made by Stephen? Awww geeky Stephen. ^_^ He looked so nice in that t-shirt (love the design) and jacket. Cutie. Totally agree with him about how knowledge should be free.

Next he'll say New York is like a city.

Huh, I don't think the user-generated content is such the point as how we all find content, that's really changing. User-generated content has been here a while. But I think my opinion is heavily influenced by a few things I've read recently, such as this.

Loved the 'Heroes' section. What a wise old bear he is. Especially enjoyed the segue between Martina Navratilova and the tree frog.
As for the T-shirt -- Maui zowie baby! Groovy! Now I must go and find the will to write this essay. He's right about that too -- the will stuff I mean. To be honest he's sort of given me a kick up the butt. Thanks, Stephen! |

I enjoyed those interviews tremendously. In the heroes part he says that words dance on the tongue - so who can't dance?
