I really hate this, because I have no money and therefore cannot allow my DECENT love for Mr Stephen to manifest itself.
 I think that the amount of money spent on items relating to - whoever (insert as applicable) - has NOTHING to do with "DECENT love" for - whoever (!) So don´t be despondent.... I for instance adore Klimt, but the fact that I do not own a single genuine Klimt (for the obvious reason  ) does not imply that I appreciate his talent any less... |

I feel a similar way for Andy Warhol's stuff. It's ace! But I don't have any. Even so... It's nice to have things!  To be honest, I wouldn't have much use for Stephen Fry's tie. It would be a cool thing to have, but I wouldn't want to pay so much. |

I wouldn´t have use for his tie either (could not possibly wear it ) But I´d love to have a signed copy of "The Stars´ Tennis Balls" or - even better - "Making History" which I am reading at the moment... excellent Of course, it is nice to have things, but hey, there is only so much space in a flat And one will appreciate the things s/he cannot have a lot MORE (like a Jaguar XJ4 aaaaah...)(Have you ever tried charity shops to find SF stuff at a price you can afford...) |
