So, I guess "Matthew Luke, you're boiling arse' deserves mentioning.

I also liked how he described himself in the bio - 'extreme street dancer at Sprout Pictures.'

Yep, it was a buzzy day all right!..

That made me too.

I cannot be awake for nothing looks to me as it did before, Or else I am awake for the first time, and all before has been a mean sleep.

A quote from the previous QI I liked: 'Correct pronunciation of Van Gogh … sounds like an outbreak of pneumonia in a frog pond.'

This little gem from the Liar always makes me feel like laughing out loud:
"But a figgy oatcake laughs at constipation and favours rectal carcinoma with a haughty stare."

This just sounds so Wodehousian (well, at least as far as style is concerned, probably less so when it comes to subject matter ).

I'm very happy that I'm not a translator of any of Stephen's books. I can't imagine what it is like reading his amazing Stephenisms in another language (well, I'll admit that they'd get lost in translation), esp. my own; we haven't got that many words in the Norwegian language, and it's a quite static language imho (hope this makes sense).

Yes, translating wordplay is a nightmare!

Here is a very funny article by an ex-pat aussie writer, Kathy Lette. The whole thing made me laugh, especially the Stephenism at the end (which is probavly untranslatable).

From Saturday Night Fry: "Put on your listening gloves, I beg of you..."

I use that myself from time to time

From the recent tweet (ah, isn't it nice to get Stephen's tweets again?): ...the traffic between Heathrow and London is twelve types of absolute arse pig.
