I tried to write a letter while driving once, but I got the address in the wrong place (on the windscreen).

Hey jodan, thanks for deciding for yourself without thinking of the safety of others. Sorry, but the tone of your post strikes me as boasting versus thinking maybe that was a selfish act.

whatever..

Really? Wow.

Going back to the Dormouse comment on autism, where do the borders of autism extend to, what constitutes the crossover point between the "masculine logic frame" and Asperger's?

Shall we continue this as a musing or SLOTMD thread?

The only way is forward. Now where's the bar?

If you don't watch your step, I shall begin to flounce. And I'm not a pretty sight when I start flouncing.

The only way is forward. Now where's the bar?

Flounce baby did it again
lost her shoes in the rain
caught the bus home
sat down and felt alone

.

anyway the autistic thing is a spectrum - pehaps its like height - some people are taller than others, but there isn't a point where you are officially 'tall'

actually i don't know what i am talking about

If we use your tall analogy Chris, then I believe there is a point where you become officially tall, the Autism-Spectrum Quotient was developed in Cambridge and is a kind of self assessment tool, I score very highly on it BUT I do not score high enough to be classed as High Functioning Autistic.

So, although I could well be completely wrong, there is a point where you become officially 'tall'. Its just measured against others of your own gender and age, rather than the population as a whole.
