No, I do love the older ones better, well except for the third one I didn't enjoy that one as much. I haven't seen the fifth film but looking at clips on youtube I'm not sure I want to. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the new film and how much I enjoyed Rupert Everett's performance.

Yeah I think Rupert was brilliant in his role

Plus I kept giggling at the near constant references to "Pride and Prejudice" X-D

Natalie: "Are you finished with your coffee cup Stephen?"
Stephen: "Yes Natalie darling I am, although it's not a coffee cup, it's a teacup..."

*5 minute debate later*

Result: The contents of the cup do not determine the name of the cup. The cup is a cup/mug whether it contains tea/coffee/ribena/hot chocolate or any other beverage.

Me too. X-D I loved all the little jokes like that. I also liked the joke when that blonde girl saw the portrait of the Girl with the Pearl Earring and thought they were going to kidnap Scarlett Johansen. X-D

The only thing that makes me want to watch this is the uniform that they wear, unfortunately, for me 'spiritual health'. It doesn't justify a £6 cinema ticket, thankfully.

You want to glomp him in every film he's in, amyl! X-D

But I've gotta agree, very glompable indeed.

I love the originals George Cole as Flash ' Arry cannot be bettered Russell Brand slim and hairy as he is (by the way have have seen him in the flesh) so to speak "if you know what I mean" oops sorry wrong thread. Anyway I don't think he Russell's character that is should be so intimidate by one nymphet. But every one is entilted to their own opinion.

Believe it or not it has JUST arrived to Spanish cinemas. *facepalm*

I wanted to watch it just because Stephen was in it (well, and Russell Brand, let's be honest :P. But mainly because of Stephen), because that's not the kind of films I watch normally. I've watched it today, and we were 7 people at the cinema... and 4 were friends of mine. So we had the place all for us!

The thing is, I thought it would be much worst! But it's not that bad at all! Rupert Everett is fantastic on it; Colin Firth is always great; Russell Brand was just... Russell Brand; and Stephen was quite simply Godly, as always. Everytime he's appeared on screen I have squeed (being with just 3 people I dind't know, I couldn't be bothered to look normal X-D ) so I have had a great time!

Just wanted to share this with you lot !

Marjorie may've won the war, but she hasn't won the battle. / Dammit John, you're up to something! I've seen that look before. / You're damn right, I'm up to something. / Dammit! / What? / What are you up to? / Something. I'm up to something.
