Happy New Year Folks
And I know this has been and discussed before but
Dont know where Stephen is this New Year, but as a LARGE chunk of his cash runs this place I thought it appropriate that the first (hopefully) thread of 2008 should be a big thankyou, from everyone here, whether as a serious visitor looking for solice and advice to do with metal illness or people like me who suffer occasionally with mild symptoms and just hang out here for a "cheer me up"
Sorry you didnt get recognised via knighthood Stephen, but from me personally a VERY BIG THANKYOU for your continued support and funding for this little corner of the very big WWW

What a lovely idea NHStress. Absolutely agreed.
So huge thanks to Stephen for being so incredibly generous and funding this wonderful forum (and just for being an absolutely awesome person). Stephen doesn't need a knighthood, class and brilliance are self-evident anyway.
And also, happy new year to everyone who posts here. You've all been really welcoming, and it's a fantastic, supportive and friendly environment here. The people who post on the SLOTMD thread in particular are particularly amazing.
Hoping for a good 2008 for everyone.

thankyou to everyone who makes this site possible for people with bipolar or ,like me, those with other mental illnesses too. also thanks to all the members for being so nice!

I'm rather new to all of this (today's been my first day of active membership, in actual fact..) but I've found the whole forum to have a lovely atmosphere. It's clear that the people on here have a lot of time, compassion and respect for one another, which is lovely to see. So thanks and best wishes for the new year to all x

The support you mention was my real motive for joining (as well as a love of Mr. Fry too, of course!); sometimes you just need that reassurance that you're not alone in feeling the way you do..
