I love music and there are songs that remind me of happy times through my life or where the words sound like they were written about a situation i was in.
for example.
Linkin Park...Somehere i belong.....Numb.......Breaking the habit.
There are loads more but what about you?

The Devin Townsend Band - Sunshine and Happiness (from Synchestra, 2006) It's my pre-work pep-up song

Trouser material can back me up here

I once went to Dublin with a group of friends, one of whom stated that she didn't understand people who thought that music could alter your mood.

I don't understand the concept of it not doing.

If it doesn't then she would not able able to express her indifference.

ok, fair enough. good point. actually, some music by poptastic groups such as the Sugababes or however you spel it, does fail to change my mood. I think I am indifferent there as well.

But mostly, music can be helpful.

That sort of thing does change my mood - I get the urge to stab myself in the head.

Yes i shall. The sugababes can go fuck, if anybody wants music that will move them buy Devin Townsend's 'Ocean Machine, 'City' or 'Infinity'. Then the rest of his back catalogue. Which is quite large i have to add, but worth it.

Advertisment over.

Yeah Dragonfore are ok. Not sure about the emotion they express, but they're great for air-guitar-noodling along to.

I'd happily hit her as many times as she wanted. That'd evoke an emotion or two in me... X-D

i was really low and depressed for about two years and I used to listen to Keane a lot because I felt that I could empathise with the lyrics, but I now see that it didn't help. Then for christmas 2005 I was given a Monkees album and now whenever I feel low, I can just listen to the Monkees and feel happy! Hense, I thank the Monkees for where I am emotionally today.
