Hi,

Just thought I'd contribute a travelogue I wrote from a tour of Europe (of the 'if this is Tuesday, this must be Belgium, or maybe Germany' type) from 1996. Hope it is of some interest.

I've only ever been to London myself.

Even though your tips (I think) are from 1996, a lot of them still hold true. Going abroad is expensive, your feet will hurt, you should bring more money than you think and you will have a wonderful time. Nowadays, however, I guess digital cameras are the way to go.

I'll read your other stories in the days to come.
