Definately back to normal - tired but can't switch off.
Completed my application to the Institute of Analyst Programmers which will help the business - was a member years ago but lapsed (as in a lot of things )
Going to chill with some music and see if I can drift off.

I need a thing like a turning down service where someone calls round at midnight or so every night and says - Right then, Bed Time.
Left to my own devices I just forget.

I think I forget too. Then again, I rarely know which day of the week it is, where my keys are, or what I came into the room for, so that might just be my memory!
I get the feeling its going to be (another) long night for me. I've not properly slept in maybe a week, & not at all in 2 nights - last night I kept my boyfriend awake all night because I couldn't settle. Since he has no idea why I don't sleep, he didn't quite appreciate that when he left for work this morning!
Don't want to take the sleeping tablets because they....well, they don't help the mood the next day, if I'm honest. I'm having a bad enough time 'appearing normal' at the moment as it is
I am running out of things to do during the nights though. Suggestions?

Tried to go to bed but I actually have work to do so couldn't sleep knowing there was stuff left to do.
So up and about to get cracking - will take about 6 hours to complete.

A thread for insomniacs. Feels like home.
I know I'll feel guilty tomorrow for not staring at the ceiling in a useless attempt to sleep, like I know I should, but hey, what's the use?
Anyone else still up?

Me, I'm still up. Although hopefully you are sound asleep by now. Not looking forward to my 8am start tomorrow. Also I vaguely recall something about a horse visit before coming in to the office, but not why, where or which horse. May be an interesting morning.

I managed to catch two hours of sleep this night. Better than nothing, I guess. I hope you were luckier.

I hope your partner is okay V, that must have been very frightening for you. High stress all round.
I didn't get much decent sleep in. Half awake all night - until of course, about 30mins before the alarm went off.
Doubt tonight will be better - got a sick puppy here who is yipping 3 times every 2 seconds. Poor dog, I feel awful, I've done everything possible I just need to wait and see how he goes - he's not even two weeks old. I'd take him into bed with me but he doesn't settle when he's held or stroked either so it wouldn't make a difference.
Hope you're all tucked up safe
