What about proper old fashioned sweet shops with big sweetie jars and half penny chews? I remember being given a 20p by my Gran and buying 40 half penny chews ... ah great days

I have seen a shop or two, but not the norm anymore that is for sure.

I had completely forgotten about these! 1975 was the year my nan died, and I remember now that she liked watching this. (Before she died obv). Thankyou for the post.

Well, I did not hear the last three but when I searched I was led to them so I figured I would add them in too.

Was watching my season of A Bit of Fry and Laurie and had to share this video. Every time I see it I laugh and enjoy how much fun they used to have together.

The first commercial shows a toy my brother had. Well, when you see the name you will understand why glow in the dark condoms remind me of this. I cannot remember which one, but Pee-Wee Herman does a PSA to not do crack.

My cousin's kids had the gloworm when they were little.

That sounds like they had a parasitic infection doesn't it?

Peewee we didn't see much of here, and I found him somewhat disturbing.

However, his arrest for intefering with his parts in a porn cinema humanised him somewhat.

Good ol' Primus. Wynona's Big Brown Beaver. I find their outfits disturbing, but funny.

Grrrr! I forgot what sweet my husband and I were talking about the other day. We were wondering what happened to them. I will ask when he gets home and hope he remembers. Good thing I am crazy cause if he does not remember, at least I am already there.
