I want to wish you all a happy Christmas!
I understand that everyone may not celebrate Christmas here, and also that Christmas may well be a sadder time than most of the year. As for the former: I'm sorry, but this is a reminder to me to wish everyone well, regardless of faith or tradition (I'm an atheist anyway), and as for the latter: all the more reason to wish you well!
If anyone is going through a tough time at the moment, then I hope it is also one step closer to finding peace with whatever's troubling you. If not, then I hope nothing ever does happen to cause unhappiness, because nobody here deserves it.

Many thanks Mockingbird, and a very happy Christmas to you and everyone here.
Thought I'd take the opportunity to post an MP3 link.

This is a song that we did with the Elizabeth Downs Primary School (South Australia) last year. The kids wrote the lyrics themselves, and had less than an hour to learn and record the song.
It was great fun, far from perfect, but very kid like.
See if you can hear the young Aussie accents in the Chorus.
Take care,
oxo

Lovely sentiments mockingbird.
I wish everyone a good Christmas or good holidays in general if they don't celebrate it. I hope everyone has a good time and stuff doesn't get anyone too down.

I can only get 3 seconds of it to play, even from your website. Is it just me?

MERRY CHRISTMAS Y'ALL

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! I cannot be awake for nothing looks to me as it did before, Or else I am awake for the first time, and all before has been a mean sleep.

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate, and a nice day off to those of us who don't. May you have the day you hope for, be it sunny and 80 or cold and snowy, with your family or a quiet time alone. It may be corny but let there be just a little peace of earth and goodwill to mankind. ---j

Best wishes for christmas from here too - and when you don't like christmas or/and are alone, I suppose encouraging words are difficult to find. But maybe we can together set a symbolic virtual candle alight.

A very Merry Christmas to you all. Natalie: "Are you finished with your coffee cup Stephen?"
Stephen: "Yes Natalie darling I am, although it's not a coffee cup, it's a teacup..."
*5 minute debate later*
Result: The contents of the cup do not determine the name of the cup. The cup is a cup/mug whether it contains tea/coffee/ribena/hot chocolate or any other beverage.
