Sorry that this is a bit late, but I've just come back from visiting the in-laws in Tennessee. I've been thinking of you all, and hoping that you have had a good Christmas, whether you observe the day religiously or not.

I want to wish you all a happy Christmas!
I understand that everyone may not celebrate Christmas here, and also that Christmas may well be a sadder time than most of the year. As for the former: I'm sorry, but this is a reminder to me to wish everyone well, regardless of faith or tradition (I'm an atheist anyway), and as for the latter: all the more reason to wish you well! If anyone is going through a tough time at the moment, then I hope it is also one step closer to finding peace with whatever's troubling you. If not, then I hope nothing ever does happen to cause unhappiness, because nobody here deserves it. THANK YOU MOCKINGBIRD!! i am having a good christmas and hope you are too. no matter what sort of christmas all y'all are having, here is a big SUPER GLOMP from banjo. *glomp* not leaving too many messages right now, as my parents' connection is hella slow here in rural oklahoma. so hi everyone and talk to you soon. |

My very best subsequent Christmas wishes and greetings to all of you as well! I spent some wonderful, cozy days at home with my parents and siblings, and everyone appeared happy throughout (although I wonder when the influence of our advanced mix of sneezing bacilli will finally begin to show its effects on my already maltreated immune system ...). A highlight: Fetching my brother from the airport together with our father on the early morning of Christmas Eve and minutely retracing every single one of our steps two hours later after my father noticed that he had lost his keys - which luckily were rediscovered another two hours later in a flower shop ...
Now let's finish this dear good old year with some decency and decorum and start into 2008 with at least one and a half somersaults with three and a half twists!  |
