I've got it but it confuses me a little. I'm used to facebook Plus, I always miss when everyones talking

I don't understand twitter either. If you reply to someone who doesn't follow you can they read your reply? If anyone knows the answer i'd be very grateful.
None of my family or friends are on twitter and i can phone them anyway, so how do you get people to follow you if you can't reply to or contact anyone?
Still I like to read the tweets of the people I follow.
Very confusing.

They can read your reply, but it wouldn't appear in their normal timeline they'd have to look specifically at their replies.

I did have a twitter account where I used to put my jokes but I deleted it. Wish i didn't i had 60 followers
