I am the cold smooth pebble -
My fingers the running stream
My breath the golden field
My tongue the earthy ground
My arms the butterfly wings.

I uncoil - race and dart with all colours.
I am embracing sky - the sun -
To my sun.
My eyes set -
I count the stars.

All seasons here
All life abounds
Never lost the wonder
Of all its sights and sounds.
Kicking from the hilltops
To the dusting ground.
'Cross shimmering howling nights
To humming summer days.
Chestnut down on sage
In autumn's orchard craze.

Breaking contradictions in his mind was, to him, like walking through a winter forest snapping twigs underfoot.
