Yes, I could do that... It would be a motivation to really try new things
I haven't listened to any sort of music for days, but since my latin test is over now I'll probably try to listen to Beethoven or Mozart. My friend recommended tschaikovsky and stravinsky so I might try them too...

I'd like to recommend the Nine Inch Nails album Ghosts: I-IV. Classical music has never appealed to me (with the exception of the odd piece as performed by Emilie Autumn*) but Trent Reznor has a way of making noise as beautiful as any classically composed piece of music.
*Laced/Unlaced is also worth a listen.
