A spirited romp but I have to nit pick. Once again, John Barry has gotten credit for something he didn't do. He seems to be skilled at that. Page 296 gives him credit for the James Bond theme. Actually, that was written by Monty Norman and Barry famously falsely claimed it was his. Though I have to agree with Fry in that Barry came up with some pleasing sounds, he used the same sounds over and over much like Peter Schickele's infamous P.D.Q.Bach who's music was all essentially the same motive written in different keys and different tempos.
