Hi All

I'm new to the site and was hoping you could help settle a conundrum!

I know that people from Wales are Welsh, those in Lancashire are Lancastrians but what are people from Norwich/Norfolk called and how do we work it out? (Could also do with knowing Dorset and Somerset too!!!)

I appreciate some name e.g. Geordie & Scouser are not derivatives of the place names but I'm still stuck!

Many thanks in advance!

The unkind answer is to call anyone from the countryside a wurzel. Not true, right or accurate, but a convenient tag.

The only way is forward. Now where's the bar?

The normal term for people in that area is probably just east anglians.

There must be a nickname, Lincolnshire folk are known as "Yellow Bellies" and Wiltshire folk as Moonrakers if you want to add to the list.

*edit* and tykes for yorkshire

That would be me.
