Do you know what genre this is? Would be great if you people could point me to similar music. I like a lot how the sound of the instruments mixes with the vocals and forms a whole. I want more of it.

Like most scores for tv shows, it's not made to clearly fit into a genre. It seems to me to go somewhere between new age and plain 20th century classical music (which is a rather wide range). Depending on what about those pieces it is that you like, I think I could help you find more of it. Maybe the choirs?

The composer is Yasuharu Takanashi and he writes music for other anime (see: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/encyclopedia/people.php?id=37756 )

That's the closest to being able to recommend any other music like it. It is a very distinct mixing of classical type sounds, synth and if I"m not mistaken traditional japanese instruments.

I used to be EternalStudent on these forums until the switch over. So don't get excited..I'm not someone new and exciting. I'm just me :P

Another thing that just came to my mind is that if you like Takanashi's music, you could (maybe) also enjoy Nobou Uematsu's or Kenji Kawai's. Among other things, Kawai wrote the music for "Ghost in the Shell" and "Avalon". There's more of the traditional Japanese influences in there. Uematsu's ("Final Fantasy" et al.) range is rather wide, but also covers music that is quite like what you linked to... Aaaand now I'm really out of ideas.

Thanks, but I have to point out that no one said shenanigans.

I am more interested in vocals than the music actually, I was unclear about that part. I mean the vocals that are just vocals, they aren't words, more like aaaAAAAaaaAAAAAaaa. They act like an instrument.

I'll try to follow up your suggestions.

Edit: I like the Japanese flute, but right now I'm looking the vocals. Stuff like In Evanescence - Lies. She goes there too like: aAaAaAAaAaaAAaaAAA. How do you describe sound with words? Each word is a little bit different for everyone.
