Young Sherlock Holmes. Hard to believe this film is 25 years old. Quite frightening and nightmarish with the hallucination scenes. I remember them scaring me when I was an ickle thing. Checking the film credits of Nicholas Rowe who played Sherlock, I was surprised to see he was in a Kingdom episode.

A Single Man with Colin Firth. Oh my lordy bottoms what a terrific film. The acting, the writing, the extreme close-ups, the color, the sets and costumes (it was set in 1962 LA) are all top notch. And it tickles my special spot about an older English man falling for a hot young thing. I hope the Oscars give it all sorts of cuddles.

Star Trek, on Blu-ray this time. Saw it in the theater, and found it on sale. I really do like this one. |

Mel Gibson's remake of Edge of Darkness. I cannot be awake for nothing looks to me as it did before, Or else I am awake for the first time, and all before has been a mean sleep. |
