Avatar. Simultaneously truly brilliant (visually) and utterly cringeworthy (everything elsely). Twitter To be is to do - Socrates |

White Mischief, which I have watched three times and never know why, because every character in it (it is based on a true story), is detestable. Very good film though. Despite being about a bunch of over privileged arseholes. (Scuse language). |

Watched "Grand Illusion" (France, 1937) yesterday. Great movie. Actually, one of the very first prison escape movies |

Inglorious Bastards I cannot be awake for nothing looks to me as it did before, Or else I am awake for the first time, and all before has been a mean sleep. |

The Blind-Side. Typically not my type of film but the Oscars made me in case Sandra wins.

The Princess and the Frog Disney's finest since the "good ole days" Natalie: "Are you finished with your coffee cup Stephen?" *5 minute debate later* Result: The contents of the cup do not determine the name of the cup. The cup is a cup/mug whether it contains tea/coffee/ribena/hot chocolate or any other beverage. |

Animal Farm (1999) A nice little film featuring a FANTASTIC group of actors voicing the animals with the technical gubbins being taken care of by (amongst others) members of the Jim Henson Creature Workshop. There are differences between the film and the book but none so horrible that you'll savagely rip the disc from your player and toss it out of the window like a shiny silver frisbee. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Animal_Farm_(1999_film) I picked it up for £1.00 (New!) but if you're too cheap to shell out then it's available here to watch through Google... http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-9153412213802919416# You can even download it as an .MP4 Top Quality Interweb Radiospiel! |
