Thanks ratoutofhell (I sort of want to shorten that to rat or ratty). No I didn't hear anything back about my meds. I have enough lithium and risperidone to take what I know I need, but self-medication has got me into big trouble in the past so I'm not going down that route.

Dr Weasel sounds like a jerk to me. He mentions he has seen you more than his other patients in a snitty way, like he wants to put you on some guilt trip. He makes a suicidal person feel guilty, that's great. Plus refuses to talk about it at all. Sounds like he got his degree at K-Mart.
Some of you should get together and write a book, "Bastard Shrinks I Have Known." It would sell pretty well and you can split the profits! Not to mention call attention to the quacks out there "treating" patients. You might even get to meet Stephen!!!!! |

Ah Ratty, it is Tuesday and still I have heard nothing.

Sorry that you still haven't heard anything. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but it's making some normal everyday activities tricky (cleaning my teeth is extremely messy).

Sorry. KSx Yes you are, but it is nothing to apologise for. We had no wish to clamp down or lock discussions on the subject as that would be counter-productive and draconian. However, we felt that forum readers needed to be warned of discussions of suicide in case it was likely to negatively affect them. So say what you want, but be aware of the impact of your words. That's all. |
