It doesn't have to be that you have a special talent. If you're a teacher or if you're a parent and would like to do something, why not let the kids perform on stage and take a minor fee for everyone coming to watch. It could be that your best friend or sister play an instrument in an orchester... ask them if they wouldn't be willing to play and give the money from the entrance fee to the fund.
I know you all have many brilliant ideas and EVERY idea is welcome!
