I just "won" the opportunity to buy $420 Olympic Ice Dance Category A Tickets.

Somehow I don't think it's quite worth it

While you all were pondering the future of an all nude male review Olympics...

Aman Simon ( sumpin' like dat ) is the overall world leader in ski jumping...but there are some other contenders who could take the gold too...

Bodi Miller still stands as the American hope for mens downhill skiing, though Ted Liggety is doing pretty good...

speaking of WINTER olympics...I'd wager there would be few male athletes willing to embarass themselves by competing in traditional 'nude'ness due to the uh...impact of cold air on uh...male egos...

That. Is AMESOME! Did you know the people that went before and after you? Do you get to keep the clothes? These are the kind of things I wonder about. That's freaking amazing!

The poster formerly known as Boiler12. Because it's really too taxing to respond to both my user name and my real name.

Thank you!! It was amazing! lol Boiler, no I didn't know them until about 2 hours before I ran. You'd think the two of us were best buddies judging by that picture though. The two of us had a game plan though. We did the fist bump, then the side-hug pose.

This guy wasn't so keen on posing. I gave him the flame and he ran off without a seconds pause.

I can't believe I'm going to be all these people's photos. It's kind of creepy.

And yes, I got to keep the uniform. And the torch!

Thanks. I know a lot of you Fluffettes aren't a big fan of the Olympics, but you should have felt it out there... just the spirit of the whole thing. Everyone was wearing their Canada sweaters and scarves, carrying signs... and you don't get that kind of patriatism very much here. They were just together out there on the streets. Didn't matter who they were. Little kids, older people and everyone in between The Olympics are so much more than just an expensive sporting event. This was so peaceful and so fun.

Yes, the little town Lillehammer (in Norway) was hosting the winter Olympics way back in 1994. There's a little Wikipedia entry about the event: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1994_Winter_Olympics

Yes, I did get to see the torch as it was passing through the place where I live. That was way back in 1994 and I was 11. I found a Wiki entry about the event: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1994_Winter_Olympics
