Anyone else remember this? For the uninitiated, Woof! was an ITV children's series about a boy who keeps turning into a dog & back again, and his daily adventures with his grandfather. In this episode, Stephen played a comic strip artist whose house was being decorated by the grandad, with help from the dog.

Just plucked an old videotape out from my cupboard - featuring Stephen's episode of Woof!

I remember Woof! but I don't remember Stephen being in it at all (I saw it in his imdb credits, was surprised). I do however remember Anthony Head being in it very well. His character had the power to turn into a dog just like the lead boys in each series. In the series he appeared in he helped the boy to learn to control his power. I remember there was an episode where they were both standing on the pavement talking then a van drove past and you could still see their trainers underneath and when the van had passed they were both dogs sat with a bundle of clothes.
Assuming direct control... |
